Ranch Experience

Children’s Summer Camp “Ranch Experience”:

During the summer months and  Spring break Children of Promise offers organized Summer Camps at the ranch.  The children  reside in an old bunk house built in the 1800’s with bunk beds, a kitchen, living quarters and scenery that only the Lord can provide.   Their days are filled with equestrian programs, sewing, gardening, canning, “chores”,  hiking, exploring, and will also provide daily bible studies, family values, and fun-filled activities designed to restore and rebuild the soul.  All the while Christian values and a work ethic that can only be fully appreciated in an environment such as this are instilled in each child.  The campers personal, emotional and spiritual needs are ministered to and in turn they learn to help others. The setting is a safe place to play and witness God’s beauty, love and favor. Campers are welcome to roam the mountains on horseback or foot and see and do many things city kids never imagine.

We know that children’s needs do not evolve overnight, nor will they be corrected overnight.  But, we have chosen to offer short term programs providing unconditional love, and a structured, peaceful environment. By teaching children their value and training them to work, The Children of Promise Summer Camp Ranch Experience offers each child an opportunity to become all that Christ has created them to be and to experience the fulfillment of a good and honest day of work.
